Flange Type Compression Sensor FXFQ is made from stainless steel based on proven strain gauge technology, it offers 5kgf / 10kgf / 20kgf / 30kgf / 50kgf five rated capacities intended for both traction and compression force measurement. The flanged surface enables it to be easily mounted between two assemblies. 0-5V, 0-10V and 4-20mA is available through external amplifier. You may find thrust sensor FXFQ applicable for assembly press-in force measurement, tension control, thrust measurement. Custom made service is available if the current specifications do not meet your requirements.
A force sensor is a transducer that converts force acting on it into electronic signal which is proportional to the applied force.The acting force causes deformation of the measuring element,the bonded strain gage deforms accordingly which will cause the resistance change of the wheatstone bridge,under constant power supply,the output signal between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally,thus the force can be measured by measuring the output signal from the load cell. Flange Mounted Force Sensor FXFQ is designed to measure force in both tension and compression direction,outputs millivolt signal ranging -15mV...+15mV, and signal amplification may be required for most applications, a load cell signal conditioner can be used to get -5-5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA signal proportional to applied force. The amplified output then can be easily processed by PLCs and data acquisition software.The force can be displayed through force indicator, force meter FPT is integrated with high accuracy/low noise 24 bit Sigma-Delta ADC, sampling speed up to 960Hz makes it suitable for both static and dynamic measurement; FPT also supports Modbus RTU protocol with RS485 or RS232 communication port, amplified signal 0-5V,0-10V,0-20mV or 4-20mA is also achievable from FPT.

Instruction of load cell output:
Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of Compression/Tension Load Cell FXFQ is around 1.0mV/V.
Power supply of Thrust Force Sensor FXFQ is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of Force Transducer FXFQ is normally within -15mV...+15mV for tension/compression force measurement.
Example: Tension Compression Load Cell FXFQ-50kg with 1.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 5V DC,the output range is -5mV...+5mV.
A signal conditioner can be used with the load cell to deliver -5~5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output.
Example: Tension Compression Sensor FXFQ-10kg working with -10-10V amplifier,the Force-Voltage relationship will be 0-10kgf compression load VS 0-10V output, 0-10kgf tension load VS 0-(-10V) output, which is linear regardless of the measurement error, 5V output means 5kgf compressive load, -2V means 2kgf tension load, and so on.
