Hollow flange reaction type torque transducer FTN is made of alloy steel based on strain gauge technology.A wheatstone full bridge is bonded on a special-machined elastic body to deliver mV/V output with maximum 0.25% non-linearity over a wide dynamic range.Reaction torque sensor FTN offers 0-100NM / 0-200NM / 0-300NM / 0-500NM / 0-1000NM / 0-2000NM / 0-3000NM seven measuring ranges to choose from.Flange to flange mounting with a 60mm hole goes through the center of the transducer which makes FTN applicable for both non-rotating and rotating torque measurement. Typical applications of torque meter FTN are for example servo motor torque measurement, test bench applications, fatigue testing, tightening torque control, twist measurement, motor dynamometers, actuator test and so on.

A torque sensor is a transducer that converts mechanical torque into mV signal proportional to the applied torque.The acting torsion causes deformation of the measuring element,the bonded strain gage deforms accordingly which will cause the resistance change of the wheatstone bridge,under constant power supply, the output signal between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally,thus the moment can be measured by measuring the output signal from the transducer.The output range of FTN is normally within -20mV...+20mV, signal amplification may be required for most applications, a signal conditioner can be used to get -5~5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output for easy data processing.
