Subminiature compression load cell FC8E is made of stainless steel based on metal foil stain gauge technology intended for compression force measurement.Miniature load cell FC8E offers 0-50N / 0-100N / 0-200N / 0-500N four rated measuring ranges to choose from. Smallest load cell FC8E is featured with only 8mm outer diameter and 6mm total height which makes it extremely suitable for force measurement applications with limited mounting space.Typical applications for smallest load cell FC8E are such as clamping force measuremen,force overload protection, load distribution analysis, pressing die force measurement, auto equipment, assembly line and so on.Micro Force Transducer FC8E can also be modified or customized to meet requirements of different applications.

A Force Sensor is a transducer that converts mechanical load into mV signal proportional to the applied force.The acting force causes deformation of the measuring element,the bonded strain gage deforms accordingly which will cause the resistance change of the wheatstone bridge,under constant power supply, the output signal between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally,thus the load/force can be measured by measuring the output signal from the transducer.
Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
The rated output of smallest force sensor FC8E is around 1mV/V.
Power supply of smallest force transducer is within 3-8V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of micro loadcell FC8E is normally within 0-8mV.
Example one: Smallest Button Load Cell FC8E-50N with 1.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 5V DC,the output range is 0...5mV.
Example two: Subminiature Compression Sensor FC8E-100N with 1.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 3.3V DC,the output range is 0...3.3mV.
An external signal amplifier can be used to deliver -5~5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output.
Example: FC8E-500N working with amplifier FSC(0-5V)-24V,the Force-Voltage relationship will be 0-500N force VS 0-5V output, when you get 3V output,it means the current load is 300N compression load,when you get 1V output,it means the current load is 100N compression force,and so on.
