Brief instruction of Rated output(or Sensitivity):
Definition: The signal produced by load cell(or force transducer) when rated load is applied, expressed in terms of mV/V. The rated output indicates the output signal range of a sensor.
Sensor output = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output is normally within 1mV/V~3mV/V.
Power supply is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the load cell output signal is normally within 0-45mV(-45mV...+45mV for bidirectional load cell).
Example one: FCCK-500N with 1.5mV/V power by 3.3V DC,the output range is 0~4.95mV proportional to the applied load.
Example two: FCCK-200N with 1.6mV/V power by 5V DC,the output range is 0~8mV proportional to the applied load.
Load cell + Signal amplifier:
Load cell normally outputs -30mV...+30mV which sometimes cannot be recognized by signal processing units directly,so signal conditioner is introduced to convert mV signal into 0-5V/0-10V/4-20mA for easy signal processing.
Example: Force transducer FCCK-50N working with 0-10V amplifier,the load-output relationship will be 0-50N load VS 0-10V output.
