10mm OD Tension Load Cell FLAE is made of stainless steel utilizing strain gauge technology to deliver maximum 0.2% non-linearity of rated output. Micro Tension Compression Load Cell FLAE offers 0-1kg / 0-2kg / 0-5kg / 0-10kg / 0-20kg (0-10N / 0-20N / 0-50N / 0-100N / 0-200N) five rated capacities to choose from. M3 threaded holes located on two sides of the transducer can be used to mount attachments or implements to adapt to different force measurement cases, miniature column type load cell FLAE can be used for both tension and compression force measurement. Stainless steel construction, compact size, bidirectional force measurement, high accuracy, Micro Force Load Cell FLAE offers a perfect mixture for applications such as wire tension control, force distribution analysis, automated control, cylinder thrust measurement, assembly force monitoring, spring testing, ultrasonic welding clamp force control and so on. A Force Sensor is a transducer that converts mechanical load into mV signal proportional to the applied force.The acting force causes deformation of the measuring element,the bonded strain gage deforms accordingly which will cause the resistance change of the wheatstone bridge,under constant power supply, the output signal between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally,thus the load/force can be measured by measuring the output signal from the transducer.
Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of miniature tension load cell FLAE is around 2.0mV/V.
Power supply of micro Pull Force Transducer FLAE is normally within 3-12V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of miniature force transducer FLAE is normally within 0...+24mV for tension force measurement.
Example one: Miniature Tensile Load Cell FLAE-50N with 2.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 5V DC,the output range is 0mV...+10mV.
Example two: Micro Tension Force Sensor FLAE-20N with 2.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 10V DC,the output range is 0mV...+20mV.
A signal conditioner can be used with force transducer FLAE to deliver 0~5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output.
Example one: Miniature Tension Force Transducer FLAE-100N working with 4-20mA amplifier,the Force-Current relationship will be 0-100N compression load VS 4-20mA output, which is linear regardless of the measurement error. Namely 4mA output corresponds to “0” load, 5.6mA output corresponds to 10N tensile load, 12mA output corresponds to 50N tensile force, and so on.
Example two: Miniature Tension Force Sensor FLAE-10N working with 0-10V amplifier,the Force-Voltage relationship will be 0-10N tension load VS 0-10V output, which is linear regardless of the measurement error. Namely 0V output corresponds to “0” load, 1V output corresponds to 1N tension force, 2V output corresponds to 2N tensile load, and so on.
