Miniature S-beam Tension Load Cell FSKA is made of stainless steel based on metal foil strain gauge technology intended for both tension and compression force measurement. Miniature Force Transducer FSKA offers 0-100N / 0-200N / 0-500N / 0-1000N / 0-2000N five rated measuring ranges with maximum 0.1% non-linearity of the full scale. M8 threaded holes located on both ends can be used to mount attachments like load button, eye bolts, hooks to fit different applications. 35x25x12mm compact design makes force transducer FSKA a perfect option for force measurement applications with limited mounting space.Model FSKA can also be modified or customized as per request.

A Force Sensor is a transducer that converts mechanical load into mV signal proportional to the applied force.The acting force causes deformation of the measuring element,the bonded strain gage deforms accordingly which will cause the resistance change of the wheatstone bridge,under constant power supply, the output signal between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally,thus the load/force can be measured by measuring the output signal from the transducer.
Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output is normally within 1mV/V~3mV/V.
Power supply is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the load cell output signal is normally within 0-45mV(-45mV...+45mV for bidirectional load cell).
Example one: S Type load cell FSKA-1kN with 2.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 3.3V DC,the output range is -6.6mV...+6.6mV(Tension and compression).
Example two: Tension Load Cell FSKA-500N with 2.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 5V DC,the output range is -10mV...+10mV(Tension and compression).
A signal conditioner can be used with the load cell to deliver -5~5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output.
Example: FSKA-500N working with amplifier FSC(-5-5V)-24V,the Force-Voltage relationship will be 0-500N compression load VS 0-5V output, 0-500N tension load VS 0-(-5V) output,when you get 1V output,it means the current load is 100N compression force,when you get -2V output,it means the current load is 200N tension force,and so on.
