Brief instruction of Rated output(or Sensitivity):
Definition: The signal produced by load cell(or force transducer) when rated load is applied, expressed in terms of mV/V. The rated output indicates the output signal range of a sensor.
Sensor output = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output is normally within 1mV/V~3mV/V.
Power supply is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the load cell output signal is normally within 0-45mV(-45mV...+45mV for bidirectional load cell).
Example one: FCCK-50N with 1.5mV/V power by 5V DC,the output range is 0~7.5mV proportional to the applied load.
Example two: FCCK-100N with 1.6mV/V power by 10V DC,the output range is 0~16mV proportional to the applied load.
The mV output from the loadcell sometimes cannot be recognized by signal processing units directly,so signal conditioner is introduced to convert mV signal into 0-5V/0-10V/4-20mA for easy signal processing.
Example: Button Load Cell FCCK-500N working with amplifier FSC(0-5V)-24V,the force-voltage relationship will be 0-500N force VS 0-5V output.
