High accuracy Weighing Load Cell FNL is a strain gauge based weight sensor which offers 0-60kg / 0-100kg / 0-200kg / 0-350kg four measuring ranges to choose from.High accuracy load sensor FNL delivers maximum 0.015% non-linearity of the full scale. Loadcell FNL is corner trimmed for platform sizes up to 400x400mm which makes it suitable for off-center load measurement. Weight Sensor FNL delivers stable performance within the declared working temperature range thanks to its temperature compensation process. A weight sensor is a transducer that converts mechanical load into electrical signal which is proportional to the load being applied.The measured load or force causes deformation of the measuring element(elastic body),the bonded strain gauge deforms accordingly which will cause the resistance change of the wheatstone bridge,under constant power supply, the output signal between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally, thus the load/force can be measured by measuring the output signal from the load cell which is normally within 0-30mV. Overloading is the most common cause of loadcell failure, a load sensor is just like a spring in certain aspects, which will be damaged if overstretched or overloaded. A machanical stop(refer to below picture) can be used to protect the sensor from excessive deformation. The deformation distance can be determined by loading the sensor with rated capacity, then adjust the meachnical stop to reach the bottom of the transducer. In most cases, the load cell will be used to measure load at 40-80% of the full capacity, thus the deformation distance can be adjusted using reference load a bit higher than the target load to be measured instead of the rated capacity.
