Miniature Thrust Force Sensor FLN is made of stainless steel based on strain gauge technology with mV/V output, threaded inline load cell FLN offers 0-5kg / 0-10kg / 0-20kg / 0-50kg / 0-100kg / 0-200kg / 0-300kg / 0-500kg eight rated measuring ranges to choose from. M8/M4 threaded rods located on both end can be used to install attachments,such as eye bolt,bolt adapter,etc.,to fit requirement of different applications.Compact size makes Thrust Force Load Cell FLN applicable for tension and compression force measurement applications where mounting space is limited.

Thrust Force Sensor 50N

A force sensor is a transducer that converts force acting on it into electronic signal which is proportional to the applied force.The acting force causes deformation of the measuring element,the bonded strain gage deforms accordingly which will cause the resistance change of the wheatstone bridge,under constant power supply,the output signal between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally,thus the force can be measured by measuring the output signal from the load cell. Miniature Thust Force Load Cell FLN is designed to measure force in both tension and compression direction,outputs millivolt signal ranging -12mV...+12mV, and signal amplification may be required for most applications, a load cell signal conditioner can be used to get -5-5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA signal proportional to applied force. The amplified output then can be easily processed by PLCs and data acquisition software.The force can be displayed through force indicator, force meter FPT is integrated with high accuracy/low noise 24 bit Sigma-Delta ADC, sampling speed up to 960Hz makes it suitable for both static and dynamic measurement; FPT also supports Modbus RTU protocol with RS485 or RS232 communication port, amplified signal 0-5V,0-10V,0-20mV or 4-20mA is also achievable from FPT.

Instruction of load cell output:

Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of Miniature Traction Force Sensor FLN is around 1.0mV/V.
Power supply of Miniature Push Pull Load Cell FLN is normally within 3-12V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of Miniature Inline Load Cell FLN is normally within -12mV...+12mV for tension/compression force measurement.
Example: Miniature Traction
Compression Load Cell FLN-5kg with 1.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 5V DC,the output range is -5mV...+5mV.

A signal conditioner can be used with the load cell to deliver -5~5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output.

Example one: Miniature Tension Compression Sensor FLN-20kg working with -10-10V amplifier, the Force-Voltage relationship will be 0-20kg compression load VS 0-10V output, 0-20kg tension load VS 0-(-10V) output, which is linear regardless of the error, 1V output corresponds to 2kg compression load, -2V output corresponds to 4kg tension load, and so on.

Example two: Miniature Traction And Compression Load Cell FLN-10kg working with 4-12-20mA amplifier, the Force-Current relationship will be 0-10kg compression load VS 12-20mA output, 0-10kg traction load VS 12-4mA output, which is linear regardless of the error, 12.8mA output corresponds to 1kg compression load, 8mA output corresponds to 5kg tensile load, and so on.
