Automotive Pedal Force Sensor FCFA is made of aluminum based on strain gauge technology intended for automotive brake testing during acceleration and deceleration. Pedal force load cell FCFA offers 0-200kgf / 0-100kgf / 0-50kgf / 0-20kgf four rated capacities which enables automotive manufacturers to verify the safety and reliability of their braking mechanics. Pedal Effort Sensor FCFA can also be modified or customized upon request to meet requirements of different testing cases.

Brief instruction of Rated output(Sensitivity):
Definition: The signal produced by load cell(or force transducer) when rated load is applied, expressed in terms of mV/V. The rated output indicates the output signal range of a sensor.
Sensor output = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output is Brake Pedal Force Sensor FCFA is normally around 2.0mV/V.
Power supply of Pedal Force Transducer FCFA is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of pedal force load cell FCFA is normaly within 0mV...+30mV.
Example: Brake Force Load Cell FCFA-1kN with 2.0mV/V power by 5V DC,the output range is 0mV...+10mV proportional to the applied load.
Load cell + Signal amplifier:
The mV output from the loadcell transducer sometimes cannot be recognized by signal processing units directly,so signal conditioner is introduced to convert mV signal into 0-5V/0-10V/4-20mA for easy signal processing.
Example: Pedal Effort Sensor FCFA-2kN working with 0-10V amplifier,the load-output relationship will be 0-2000N load VS 0-10V output, 0V output corresponds to 0N, 1V output corresponds to 200N load, 5V output corresponds to 1000N force,and so on.
