Definition: The signal produced by load cell(or force transducer) when rated load is applied, expressed in terms of mV/V. The rated output indicates the output signal range of a sensor.
Sensor output = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of press load cell FFA is normally around 2.0mV/V.
Power supply of flange type press force sensor FFA is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of push force transducer FFA is normally within -30mV...+30mV for tension and compression force measurement.
Example: Flange Mounted Push Load Cell FFA-2kN with 2.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 10V DC,the output range is -20mV...+20mV.
A load cell amplifier can be used to convert mV signal into -5-5V , 0-10V, 4-20mA.
Example: Press Load Cell FFA-5kN working with 0-10V amplifier,the Force-Voltage relationship will be 0-5kN compression load corresponds to 0-10V voltage output,which is linear regardless of the measurement error.
